All SBIR/STTR Applicants Need to Register with SBIR.gov

Completed registrations will receive a unique SBC Control ID to be used for submissions at any of the 11 participating agencies in the SBIR or STTR programs.
Step 1 – (Optional) – Check to see if you are eligible for SBIR and STTR
Step 2 – Sign-in or create an account with Login.gov
Step 3 – Enter company info, including, UEI, email address, and/or DUNS/EIN
Step 4 – Provide ownership and contact details
You will need the following:
• UEI (Unique Entity Identifier)
• DUNS/EIN
• Company Name
• Address
• Ownership Information
• Contact Information (Name, Phone Number) Point of Contact
• Number of Employees
The SBIR.gov system verifies user accounts with SAM.gov. To be verified, the SAM.gov POC being provided below must match with one of the POC emails for this firm listed in SAM.gov in conjunction with the UEI that is being registered below. If you are unsure what is listed in SAM.gov for your company, you may verify the information on the SAM.gov site.
Firms required to submit a commercialization report: SAM verification is required to complete and submit your firm’s Company Commercialization Report (CCR).
The provided SAM.gov POC will receive an email with a link to verify the creation authorization of this profile.
Once they verify the firm, the admin will receive the login link in the email provided. This will navigate users to their firm dashboard.
