DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”5/6″]\n	\n \n\n\n \n	\n\nAsk Me Anything: Low-Cost Radar for Planetary Navigation and Autonomy (NASA SBIR Ignite)[vc_column_text]June 12\, 2025 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM CT | Virtual[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Join NASA for a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Subtopic I03.01\, part of the 2025 SBIR Ignite solicitation: Low-Cost mm-Wave and cm-Wave Radar for Planetary Exploration Vehicles. \nIn this session\, you’ll hear directly from the NASA topic author(s) and get a chance to ask your questions about the vision\, scope\, and potential use cases for this opportunity. \nAbout the Subtopic:\nNASA is seeking compact\, low-cost radar systems that enable autonomous navigation\, 3D terrain mapping\, hazard detection\, and environmental awareness for rovers and aerial vehicles exploring planetary surfaces. Proposals should focus on adapting commercially available radar technologies—especially mm-wave and cm-wave radar System-on-Chip (SoC) components—for use in the harsh conditions of space. \nIdeal solutions are:\n– Low-SWaP (Size\, Weight\, and Power)\n– Resistant to dust and lighting extremes\n– Applicable to both space missions and Earth-based autonomy systems \nThis is a great opportunity for radar innovators\, autonomy-focused startups\, and sensor developers looking to bring their tech to new markets — both on and off the planet. \nhttps: nasa.gov/sbir_sttr/sbir-ignite/[/vc_column_text]\n Register Here\n [/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Non-dilutive SBIR/STTR funding may be a consideration. The government’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs make over $4 billion in high-risk\, non-dilutive capital available to innovative small companies annually\, but you have to propose a clearly defined R&D project that helps de-risk your technology in preparation for commercialization. \nThis virtual SBIR Webinar will provide an overview of the SBIR/STTR programs and how you can leverage your knowledge gained from customer discovery to build a compelling SBIR/STTR proposal. In this interactive workshop\, we’ll learn how to use data from customer discovery to come up with 1-3 clearly defined Technical Objectives related to product development for a Phase I application. SUMMARY:NASA Ignite AMA - AI-Powered Design for Multidisciplinary Space Hardware
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”5/6″]\n	\n \n\n\n \n	\n\nAsk Me Anything: AI-Powered Design for Multidisciplinary Space Hardware (NASA SBIR Ignite)[vc_column_text]June 5\, 2025 | 12:00 – 1:00 PM CT | Virtual[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In this session\, you’ll hear directly from the NASA topic author(s) and get a chance to ask your questions about the vision\, scope\, and potential use cases for this opportunity. \nAbout the Subtopic:\nNASA is seeking AI-powered design automation tools that accelerate the development of complex space hardware. Proposed solutions should be able to take high-level inputs—like natural language or digital engineering artifacts—and generate validated\, modular hardware designs through open\, flexible APIs. This work lays the foundation for a new generation of “Text-to-X” workflows that reduce iteration cycles and unlock rapid engineering across domains like thermal\, power\, avionics\, structures\, and more. \nWhether you’re an AI startup\, a digital engineering innovator\, or just exploring how your technology could apply to spaceflight\, this AMA is designed to help you understand the opportunity and how to propose. \nHaven’t registered yet for the General AMA?\nBe sure to check out “Keys to a Winning Ignite Proposal” on June 3 for an overview of how to apply: https: nasa.gov/sbir_sttr/sbir-ignite/[/vc_column_text]\n Register Here\n [vc_column_text]Tuesday\, June 10 – Advanced Manufacturing (AM) & Robotics for Space Applications AMA Register Here \nThursday\, June 12 – Low-Cost Radar for Planetary Navigation and Autonomy AMA Register Here[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
