Department of War (DoW) Pares Down Critical Technology Areas
The Department has identified six Critical Technology Areas (CTAs) to focus its efforts. These CTAs represent the forefront of innovation, designed to deliver immediate, tangible results at the speed of relevance.
The focus areas in the updated catalog include applied artificial intelligence (AAI); biomanufacturing; contested logistics technologies (LOG); quantum and battlefield information dominance (Q-BID); scaled directed energy (SCADE); and scaled hypersonics (SHY).
